Update 5/30

Hope everyone is doing well!

  • TONIGHT Ron "Big Mac" McFarland will be speaking at the Dinner & Devo about his trip to China.
  • THIS SATURDAY: Starting at 9AM Bruce Wallace asked for our help in sanding down and repainting the big school bus. It will be most of the morning (we won't get it all done but it will be a start). Weather permitting of course. Please wear old clothes!
  • Sunday morning: Senior High Bible Class: Jim Wilson will be teaching. I will be in prison (Tom Deadman asked me to speak down at the Symrna prison) :)
  • MEXICO MISSION MEETING This Sunday after morning service. If you are going YOU NEED TO BE THERE!!!
  • Next week: Camp SonShine at Manatawny (www.manatawny.org)

Update 5/24/07

  • This Sunday May 27: there will be a combined Junior and Senior High class in the 8th grade room. Dave Blackwell will be the teacher.
  • Memorial Day church-wide picnic on Monday May 28. See the bulletin for more details.
  • June 2: There will be two service activities going on at the building: 1) the Car Care Ministry will be going on and 2) Bruce Wallace asked for our help (parents included) with sanding and repainting the big school bus. We will begin at 9AM and go till around lunch time. Plus wear old clothes for either of these. This again is weather permitting...
  • MEXICO MISSION TEAM: Our meeting is June 3rd in the library right after Sunday morning worship service. I believe the meeting will take about 1 1/2 hours. We will eat pizza together sometime during the meeting. Bring $5 for pizza and drinks.

Week of May 14th

Thanks for everyone who has been asking about my wrist. I was working on some stuff for the Run around at Aletheia and I opened a window at the bottom of the People's House and broke a window and my hand went through and I cut my wrist in three places. No stitches but alot of soreness. It's healing up pretty well....could have been alot worse then it was...

- Next two Wednesday nights: Teens will meet in the Multipurpose Room with the adults. next week will be a presentation by Ron "Big Mac" McFarland about his work in China

- Movie Night May 18th (this Friday) @ 7pm at the Mahoney's house. guys bring drinks; girls bring snacks.

- Church Wide Picnic: Memorial Day. See bulletin for details.

- No basketball on May 21st and May 28th. Start up again June 4th.
